Russian Ministries' leadership guides a unique team of innovative Next Generation Christians in their ministries and focuses global resources on the unique needs and challenges of the former Soviet Union.

ANITA DEYNEKA, President

Anita DeynekaAnita Deyneka, wife of the late Peter Deyneka, Jr., has served in missions for 35 years. In addition to assisting with the development of new ministries, she has specialized in the development of training and research programs and materials for Westerners involved in ministry to the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.

She is the author and co-author with her husband of seven books, numerous articles in magazines, newspapers and other periodicals relating to missions. Anita has spoken in many churches and at other events such as InterVarsity’s Urbana, and has been interviewed on Christian radio and television programs such as Focus on the Family, Chapel of the Air, and BBC Book Review. During the Soviet years she taught occasional courses in the area of missions in the USSR at Wheaton Graduate School, Fuller Seminary, and Biola.

SERGEY RAKHUBA, Senior Vice President

Sergey RakhubaSergey Rakhuba oversees all ministry activity in the former Soviet Union for Russian Ministries and specializes in strategic mission issues. Sergey is a Moody Bible Institute graduate, preacher, and experienced conference speaker specializing in mission issues related to Russia and the former Soviet Union.

He is often featured on radio on Mission Network News and on the Moody Radio Network programs. Sergey lives near Wheaton with his wife, Tanya, and their two children, Dmitri, and Eugenia (Geni).
